HELLO
since few days I have a problem with start synchronization my Opera profile. Till today I thought its my old PC, but I just tried on completely different machine with clean OS installed.
What I can do it successfully logon, but next on any machine have this info:
Synchronization --> Advanced sync settings --> Please wait…

I waited already few hours without luck. Checked on other PC as well without luck.
What I just also discovered is progress when I use VPN connection - so its can be you are blocking my IP/IP Range?
