Start the topic with a title that briefly describe the problem so people will know about what this is about.
Don't try to explain all the problem in the title.

Use tags to make it easy for other users to find posts about similar issues. If posting about Opera Mail then add the 'Opera Mail' tag

In the post (body) you should include the following information:

• Version of Android

• Phone model and manufacturer

• Your version of Opera for Android

• If the problem is with a page, a link to it

• If ad-blocker is enabled or not

• If data savings is enabled or not

• A screen-shot of the problem if it's related to something not showing as should

• A description of the problem, including as much as information as possible

• Steps to (try to) reproduce the issue

• Expected behavior and actual one

• One suggestion or feature request per topic. Related ones can be grouped in the same topic

• Describe your suggestion or feature request clearly

• Say why it would be interesting to have it implemented. Imagine that you need to convince an investor that it's worth to spend time and money on your idea.

• You are allowed to "bump" a suggestion/request every six months

Before posting, some required (mandatory) steps

First of all you should check if the problem is not being caused by an extension or a broken profile. Do the following required steps, re-starting Opera after each one of them and checking if the problem remains after each one.

• Disable all extensions

• Disable the ad-blocker/tracker blocker

• Reset settings to default (Do a backup and export your passwords first)

• Reset flags to default

• Create a clean profile folder/directory

• Temporarily disable antivirus, firewall, anti-malware and all related software in your system

• If the problem is with a web page, check if it works with other browsers. Try checking with other Chromium based browsers

• Check if your Windows is up to date

Posting about your problem

After have done the steps above and confirmed that the problem is, most probably, in Opera, it's time to post about it.

@mixer468 Yes, some sites detect that you are using a dark them and adapt themselves to it. That's not something controlled by the browser.

On YouTube you can click on your account icon and change to light mode.

@HopeRope29 Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done to help you, since your old password is needed to decrypt the synced saved passwords and no one has access to your old password.

@flaviu2 Doesn't it depends on the theme settings?

You can use the Forgot My Password tool to recover it, but you will lose access to your saved passwords since they were encrypted using the old password.

@mixer468 That's how it works nowadays, you can have a dark themed UI with pages using their original light modes.

@kotsapl The 117.0.5408.162 one. Check if there isn't an auto update executable there.
