There has been enough discussion about this and the question of the topic has been answered for some time already.
Those who want the tabs menu back can ask for it in the suggestions and features request section.

@blt123 It's not a bug, so nothing to be fixed. It's a request that they may or may not accept someday.

RE: Where is the "Recently closed tabs/Tab menu" button on the top right?Opera for computers
1 ) For someone that seems to have been using Opera for a while, you should already know that you shouldn't expect answers from Opera.
2 ) It seems that you are misunderstanding the function of a moderator in a forum. They exist to keep the forum organized and the discussions civilized. They are not referees, they don't have to stay neutral on a discussion.
3 ) Maybe you are right, maybe I really don't care that much. Those are changes that any capable adult person can deal with and not exactly the end of the world.

@pheonixflame2130 It's not a bug that needs to be fixed, but a suggestion/request that may or may not be accepted.

RE: Open recently closed tabsOpera for Windows
@corey In Opera developer, it searches closed tabs too.
In Opera stable, recently closed tabs can found in Menu > History.

RE: Where are the bookmarks.Opera Touch
@jtgd For me, bookmarks should have been removed from browsers a long time ago and I've been saying it since a while.
They simply don't make that much sense nowadays as they did 20, 10 years ago. Finding a page is much more easy as well as keep them for future reference.
I don't see bookmarks as something that belongs to the future of browsers. -

@akasudesu I guess you are probably reaching that little space between the page and the sidebar.

RE: Where is the "Recently closed tabs/Tab menu" button on the top right?Opera for computers
@SymphonicPoet It's not a bug, so if you are reporting it to the bug tracking system, then you are making a fake report.
And I don't think that acting like a spoiled child will make them change anything. On the contrary, it will only harm others.

RE: Open recently closed tabsOpera for Windows
@greyreth When a google search result leads you to a forum, it may be better to use the forum search and even take a look in a few of its pages to find out what you want.
You can also use Google to search inside a specific site.

RE: cpu and ram settings are not saved after rebootOpera GX
@tparavani Depending on what you are doing on te computer and on the browser, you may need to set different limits for RAM and CPU. So I guess it makes sense to not keep that info between sessions.

RE: Extension PublishingOpera add-ons
Because there it's done automatically while in Opera the process only recently started moving from totally manual to automatic.

RE: Where is the "Recently closed tabs/Tab menu" button on the top right?Opera for computers
@andrew84 I don't know if tabs menu has gone due to low popularity but, in my opinion, it's something that shouldn't be there since the beginning. I don't even remember why it was introduced. Probably to try improving tabs management.
