Hi again.
We have fixed the issue in the latest beta 73.0.3844.69682 (Google Play: Opera beta). If you could help us, please install and try if Opera beta starts.
Noted. I have forwarded your input to our development team. This is currently tracked as a feature request, and we appreciate you sharing your ideas with us.
As a workaround, you can long tap on a suggested item to remove it.
Hi @Faizuraja, thanks for the suggestion!
A "Download later" option — saving the link and queuing the download instead of starting it right away and pausing manually — makes a lot of sense, especially for managing downloads on the go. I've passed this along to the team as a feature request.
Out of curiosity: would you expect these queued downloads to start automatically later (e.g. when on Wi-Fi), or only when you manually tap to begin? That detail would help us scope it.
Thanks for helping make Opera better!
Thanks for the question — we've forwarded this to the product team as feedback.
We suspect you've already done this, but just to rule it out: could you double-check the following setting on your device?
Settings → Personal data → Passwords → Settings → "Autofill in other apps"
It should be enabled with Norton Password Manager selected as the autofill service. If that's already set and Norton still doesn't surface its prompt inside Opera, please let us know — that would help the team narrow down whether it's a real gap.
Thanks again for the feedback.
Thanks for the report — we've forwarded this to the product team for investigation.
Regarding restoring data, you can recover your lost data using one of the following methods:
If Sync is enabled: Your data will restore automatically upon logging back in.
If you have a device backup: If your phone backed up(e.g., via Google Android Backup), you can restore them by reinstalling the app. Long-press the Opera icon > select App Info > Uninstall. Once you reinstall Opera, the backup data will populate automatically..
Thanks again for helping us improve Opera for Android.
Thanks for the report — we've forwarded this to the product team for investigation.
To help them narrow it down, could you share a few extra details:
Thanks again for helping us improve Opera for Android.
Thanks for the detailed report and for taking the time to verify with Android's "Show taps" developer option — that's really helpful information.

Thanks again for helping us improve Opera for Android.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Given that the feature is still in its early stages, point portability is something we are currently looking into as a potential enhancement. We’ve shared your feedback with the team to highlight the importance of including this in future updates.
Apologies for the issue persisting for a long time. This happens for security reasons. When another app overlays on top of Opera (such as Messenger chat bubbles), we block clicks on dialogs to prevent any intrusion.
To interact with any dialog, you first need to close the overlaying app. This could be chat heads, screen recording apps, or any other app that displays content over Opera.
Hi! Thanks for the screenshot. We have several known issues for foldable devices.
I've forwarded your comment to the team!
