We are happy to announce the release of Opera for Android 48 (48.1.2331.132804).
In this release, we have added two of the most user requested features, Text size option and Tab option when returning to the browser. If you prefer larger text size by default, you can go to Settings and change the size. Regarding the tab settings, now you can always go back to the tab where you've left off instead of going back to the start page. This option is also available in Settings.
Besides the above requests, our browser helps you get rid of annoying cookie dialogs and streamline your experience with improved autofill, credit card, and password management. The cookie dialog settings is available in the Ad blocker settings.

Hi, try this now.

1. Log out from all devices. (E.g. Desktop, Touch and Opera for Android)
2. Log in again with the same account on all devices
3. Desktop: load www.opera.com/connect
4. Opera for Android: Scan the QR code from sync and backup
5. If you cannot connect, try the steps mentioned earlier

You might need to login/out, emergency reset several times.

We have fixed the issue in the latest beta 73.0.3844.69682 (Google Play: Opera beta). If you could help us, please install and try if Opera beta starts.

We have released OfA 73 now and it include the fix. This is currently rolling out gradually, so the availability might not be immediate.

If you still have the problem, please let me know and send in a log file.

Unfortunately, because the Chromium project dropped support for Android 7, we can no longer support that version. We had a bug that accidentally sent out the upgrade message to that version, but it has now been fixed.
