If you have a PC with Sync enabled, go to Manage Bookmarks (Ctrl-Shift-B) and click on "Other speed dials". Delete the folder for the device in question, and the device will be removed from the server.

@shajins2k Every time you close Opera, or every time you restart your computer?

You being signed in somewhere is controlled by a cookie for that site. So if you've set Opera to throw away new cookies on exit, that will log you out. Alternatively some third-party privacy software can be configured to delete cookies - that even includes CCleaner. So if cookies are deleted every time you restart the computer, check for something like that.

On the menu go to Settings. In the sidebar, click on the option to show "Advanced" settings. Click on the Browser section, and scroll down to "Start Page". Select "Hide Search box".

Hover it, click the "..." behind the location name, select Change location. Fairly obvious.

@sirblobfish If you go to

chrome://flags/#enable-force-dark

you will see about 10 different options in the dropdown related to force dark mode, including one that applies it only to non-image elements.. You might try that.

@dion06 They're not in Stable yet, so give them time. Opera One is still in Developer, not even Beta yet. When version 100 reaches Stable, then we'll have tab islands. GX is generally a little behind Stable even. Will tab islands be coming to GX? I'm not a developer and don't know for sure, but I expect them to. But it'll be a couple of months I guess.

As I'm one of those who never has more than 5 tabs open at a time, search in tabs is almost useless to me. But Leo and I are not developers, Opera Software will do what they want not what I want.

Actually, you can copy them from "Other speed dials" but you can't sync them directly. Many people have Opera on several machines (say, home and work) and want different speed dials on different machines. There is a feature request for a way to actually sync them; add your support to that request.

Has to do with what happens when you hover (mouse over) a speed dial tile; it isn't a big thing.

In Settings > Browser, in the User Interface section clear the box labeled "Enable the search pop-up when selecting text". No need for a "feature request", it already exists.

@cooperdozier That is just pressing F11, technically. On most laptops and many multimedia keyboards, the mulrimedia functions are primary and the actual F-keys require you press and hold an Fn key to access the F-key functions. So Fn+F5 is F5 (Reload), Fn+F1 is Help, and yes Fn+F11 is Toggle Fullscreen.

Or - at least on my keyboard, you can press Shift+Fn to engage Fn Lock, which makes the F-keys primary and makes you use Fn to access the multimedia keys.

@ef-gmbh It says "request blocked", that doesn't sound like a message from Opera - it sounds like the site is blocking Opera rather than the other way around.

Presuming it's a page anyone can access (not restricted or on an internal network) and and safe to mention (no porn or hacks), we could try it and see.

@hueblitzz How long is "a while"? All sign-in cookies expire eventually if you don't renew them by visiting the site before then, something in the range of a week to a month is fairly common.
