I had this issue before, it was because the notification was opening the wrong version of Opera. Not that your case is necessarily this, but it's the one I've seen ...

@GeeGeeX57 Which website? The ads are being set to a very narrow width but not actually blocked. Very strange.

@LukaszOpera Such things are referred to as Progressive Web Apps or PWAs, and currently desktop versions of Opera do not support them.

@LoginGuest001 That thing that slides out of the right side when hovered is called the hacker view and includes a section for widgets.

@ponpon21 Looks like it must be related to a downloader extension - or else some sort of phishing. Either way, not related to Opera itself. If you have a downloader extension and reported a bug with it, that is what it says it is. If not ... well, looks like "OK" is the only option. If clicking OK brings you to a different page, close it.

@AWannabeArtist No mention of your graphics system?

Years ago, I had a system which would do that. Of course, that was tied to the really poor graphics on that system - but I wouldn't expect anything like that to have an i7. Make sure all your graphics-related drivers are up to date.

@AWannabeArtist One off those "live wallpapers", an animated wallpaper, or just a still image? Kind of sounds like a GPU crash, so what's your system like and is hardware acceleration enabled or disabled?

@DavyP See if Opera's bookmarks shows the right faxicons or not. If Opera itself doesn't show them it means Opera doesn't have them in its cache. Clearing History will also delete favicons, they would show again after you visit the sites. If Opera has the faxicons but your extension doesn't, that is something the author would need to fix.

@DavyP Being as the menu seems to be related to an extension, you'll probably have to ask that extension's author. If it was an actual Opera menu, I might try to find an answer, but I have no clue where to look for this.

@SarahJacob Go to Settings and type "run" in the search box. There will only be 1 match, though Opera shows the full section - you'll see the text highlighted in the bottom line. It's obvious from there.

@anas-a11 Go to Settings > Advanced ? Autofill > "Addresses and more" and turn it off.

@Martadavies Depends on what app is set in your system for such things. If it is expecting to upload an image it'll usually bring up either Photos or your Camera app (on mine it asks me to choose between those two), but you should be able to set it to a file browser if you have one installed. (You'd need to set it in Android Settings under Apps).

@CookieOfWar Is this Opera GX? I can imagine a mod in GX doing that; otherwise it shouldn't happen. If it is GX, try disabling shaders in the sidebar.

@marvin79 Sorr of. Open link now opens in a new (background) tab, i guess they decided if you wanted to open it in the same tab you wouldn't have bothered with the menu.

@leocg Since the error is after login, that probably won't help. Could be cookie-related, allowing cookies on that site might help.

@legojamestv What is "frequently"? Which pages on the site (if it is only certain pages)? I've seen sites that display fine, but if you try to open pictures in a new tab will throw this error.

@Nordical Third party cookies ate supposedly being phased out, as such Google saw no point in keeping related settings in Chromium.

@PickneeKotton Unfortunately, no. Once you reset Sync it cannot be recovered.
