@madwey Browser history is not infinite, so I can't say if something from last year will be available. but if you remember anything about the address or page title try using the search..

RE: Google / G mail Declares "Opera Incompatible."Opera for Windows
@Ampmadscientist "Silly rule" only applies to new posters. We had a few very persistent spammers at one time, one of the things we did to discourage them was that delay to prevent them from flooding the forums.

RE: More star dial websitesOpera Browser
@SuperMemeGuardian6 Unfortunately I'm not an iOS user, so I can't help you further. I know the iOS version is more limited than the Android version, due to Apple's rules that all iOS browsers must be based on Safari, butt otherwise ...

RE: More star dial websitesOpera Browser
@SuperMemeGuardian6 I'm going to presume this is Opera for iOS rather than Opera Mini and move it to that forum.

RE: Breitbart News and Discus CommentsOpera for Windows
@solitaryheart No doubt has to do with the tracker blocker, as they will be expecting to see an ID from one of the big names (as in, log in with Google or Facebook or some such). If you want to participate, you'll have to allow them to track you on that site. Your choice.

RE: More star dial websitesOpera Browser
@SuperMemeGuardian6 Star dials? Which version of Opera, and which device? (On most systems they are called speed dials. But I can't claim to have tried all versions.)

RE: Need some clarification about AI tools when highlighting textAI tools: Sidebar, Prompts, AI tooltip
@YXR9 Opera is trying to make its features easy to find, so Aria features are enabled by default but can be disabled in Settings.

RE: Transferring Opera to another computerOpera for Windows
@JimMayor Some data (passwords, history, cookies) is encrypted and will not be readable if physically copied to a new system. If you wish access to that data on your new system ... well, passwords can be exported, but the rest can only be transferred with Sync. Bookmarks (aka Favorites) can be copied fine, not sure about sessions (tabs and islands)
Sync does not include backgrounds/themes and add-ons, if you want those you'll still need to copy stuff over or reinstall them from the source.

RE: Why does Opera GX keep suggesting Chase.comOpera GX
@eliasballz Must be a recent change - when it wrote that there wasn't such a setting.

RE: Spaces in bank card numberOpera for Windows
@girlswithguitars My point was - and still remains - that login data includes both username and password. Hence you need to check what username is saved for that site and remove the spaces there.

@darkgenius1987 Why post in a topic about version 90 when asking about 91?

RE: Spaces in bank card numberOpera for Windows
@girlswithguitars Log in? I would expect Opera to treat it like any other login field rather than a paypent method - check under Passwords in Settings.

RE: Sites blocked by DNS serverOpera for Windows
@Doc-J Ignore? Sites not listed in a DNS would generate an error message to tell you there is a problem. If you want to actually block a site via DNS, you'd have to return an address that isn't actually allowed, such as 0.0.0.0 - it should just ignore that, I think.
General redirects to a different domain - sites on the internet can change providers, if the new domain is legitimate the browser should follow redirects.. If you mean redirects from your network to an external site, that would be your DNS.

RE: Allow own playlists in boostsRequests
@niigokaito The thing with boosrs is that at some level they need to match a particular beat, your playlist may not do that. Not sure how hard it would be to find specific beats within a list of tracks, but that's what they'd need to do to allow you to uee your own music.

RE: Security / KEV CVE Questions for Latest Opera GX 120.0.5543.204Opera GX
@kyoden5516854 Not part of Opera let alone the GX team, but you can check the current version of Chromium in Help > About Opera (it is included in the user agent listed there). While GX does tend to be behind Opera One in terms of Chromium builds, that will at least allow you to narrow your focus.

RE: evil ads in shortcutsFeedback
@Herf1400 And why haven't you disabled the "ads"? Not certain if you mean promoted content or news, but my speed dial hasn't changed in years.

RE: Concern About Manifest V3 Migration With Pending UpdatesOpera add-ons
Opera does not have the resources to maintain a fork of Chromium. They might keep MV2 support for a little while, but eventually they must reach a point where they couldn't continue to merge the support back into current versions of Chromium, and they are forced to drop it. I suppose we now know when they reached it.

RE: Amazon error message. "malformed link"General
@jimjinnj You could try to report it to the developer, though honestly why an auto-refresh extension should be tracking your Amazon clicks is suspicious.
