@sirblobfish If you go to
chrome://flags/#enable-force-dark
you will see about 10 different options in the dropdown related to force dark mode, including one that applies it only to non-image elements.. You might try that.

As I'm one of those who never has more than 5 tabs open at a time, search in tabs is almost useless to me. But Leo and I are not developers, Opera Software will do what they want not what I want.
If you have a PC with Sync enabled, go to Manage Bookmarks (Ctrl-Shift-B) and click on "Other speed dials". Delete the folder for the device in question, and the device will be removed from the server.
Has to do with what happens when you hover (mouse over) a speed dial tile; it isn't a big thing.
Actually, you can copy them from "Other speed dials" but you can't sync them directly. Many people have Opera on several machines (say, home and work) and want different speed dials on different machines. There is a feature request for a way to actually sync them; add your support to that request.
Why do you think the forum has circular avatars? It's the current style.
@sgunhouse After testing, I see that it doesn't happen if you have already zoomed the page. That may be why I didn't see it earlier.
Opera's VPN was always "where allowed by law", so if the Russian government tells them to disable it in Russia that is what happens.
@rwhite777 If you have more than one window open and close all the tabs in one of the windows, that window will also close. But once you are down to one window, closing the last tab does not close the browser.
Opera Touch doesn't have bookmarks. Don't ask me, I think it's silly.
It is probably a window manager issue, some few Linux systems will draw the dropdown behind the main window. Identifying your distro and desktop manager may help them identify the problem. As in, Ubuntu 20.04 with Cinnamon, etc.
@player01sid That's a setting. If you go into Settings and find the VPN section, it has a setting to disable the VPN on searches.
@vaintrix What files?
Opera does not have an option to open files directly (except those which open in te browser) and thus will force you to save any other files. To open a file you just saved (and which has finished downloading) you can double-click the notification (the one that says Download completed) or on the name in the Downloads list.
192.168.x.x is a local address and doesn't even require a DNS lookup as it's already an address.
@divthecutie When you visit a page you have bookmarked (including in speed dial) the heart icon at the right of the address field will be filled instead of an outline. You can click on this icon to show a palette with the image to be used, the bookmark folder to save it to, and a trash can if you want to remove the bookmark. There are arrows to the left and right of the image which can be used to select a different image from those on the page. You can also use the heart icon when it is an outline to add a new bookmark, which is what Leo mentioned.
@kaishmeayoung If you no longer have access to the old email, I'm not sure what the procedure is. Maybe just create a new account and forget about the old one.
@kaishmeayoung Did you check your old account? No doubt they would send a message there asking if it was really you.
@blackwidow They don't usually reply to bug reports, sorry. The fix just shows up in the new version one day. Having said that, the test version (aka Developer build) seems to have gotten better recently, so it is in the works.
@basilrathbone 87? Try updating to the current version and see if that works.
@kidgenesis It gets downloaded to a temp file then copied to the destination folder, so you need enough space on your main drive to complete the download.
