If you have a PC with Sync enabled, go to Manage Bookmarks (Ctrl-Shift-B) and click on "Other speed dials". Delete the folder for the device in question, and the device will be removed from the server.

@shajins2k Every time you close Opera, or every time you restart your computer?

You being signed in somewhere is controlled by a cookie for that site. So if you've set Opera to throw away new cookies on exit, that will log you out. Alternatively some third-party privacy software can be configured to delete cookies - that even includes CCleaner. So if cookies are deleted every time you restart the computer, check for something like that.

@dion06 They're not in Stable yet, so give them time. Opera One is still in Developer, not even Beta yet. When version 100 reaches Stable, then we'll have tab islands. GX is generally a little behind Stable even. Will tab islands be coming to GX? I'm not a developer and don't know for sure, but I expect them to. But it'll be a couple of months I guess.

Hover it, click the "..." behind the location name, select Change location. Fairly obvious.

On the menu go to Settings. In the sidebar, click on the option to show "Advanced" settings. Click on the Browser section, and scroll down to "Start Page". Select "Hide Search box".

you will see about 10 different options in the dropdown related to force dark mode, including one that applies it only to non-image elements.. You might try that.

Actually, you can copy them from "Other speed dials" but you can't sync them directly. Many people have Opera on several machines (say, home and work) and want different speed dials on different machines. There is a feature request for a way to actually sync them; add your support to that request.

As I'm one of those who never has more than 5 tabs open at a time, search in tabs is almost useless to me. But Leo and I are not developers, Opera Software will do what they want not what I want.

Has to do with what happens when you hover (mouse over) a speed dial tile; it isn't a big thing.

@nedrapter Sorry, not in direct contact with them. You probably know as much as I do. At the time I thought since GX was 2 versions behind regular Opera that when we reached that version it would just show up, but we're well past that now.

@mardiyah What distro? Most versions of Linux have their own "package manager", and where possible Opera will try to add its server as a repository. So on most systems just run your system update app.

@zap250 Is it empty though, or something you can't see? If you hover inside the dropdown what part(s) highlight?

If you're using a strange theme the background and text might be the same color - until you hover something. Alternatively it might be trying to use a bad font where the characters don't display.

As large as your dropdown is, it is not empty. There is something there, even though you can't see it.

@fuzzbucket Turbo? I would have expected the servers to be disabled years ago, but if somehow you do have Turbo mode enabled that would use an Opera server.

@fluffybunnyflipflops Unfortunately Opera doesn't let you customize menus. Someone who knows javascript might be able to write it as a bookmarklet. Alternatively (and probably the easiest), add it as a search engine and use that. That is, if the URL is already in your address bar, type your search shortcut (I assigned it as "s", so I just type s and a space before the URL) and press Enter. If the text of the URL is on the page somewhere, select it and use Search with > and select "archive.ph". Otherwise, copy the URL then in the address bar type your search shortcut and then paste the URL.

@sadhobo Sounds like a dumb question ... if your funds are in the right coin, why should they care what wallet you are using? If you meant can you use Opera Wallet instead of their wallet, I'm sure the answer is no - they will want their fees.
