Posting about your problem

After have done the steps above and confirmed that the problem is most probably in Opera, it's time to post about it.

Start the topic with a title that briefly describe the problem so people will know about what this is about.
Don't try to explain all the problem in the title.

Use tags to make it easy for other users to find posts about similar issues. If posting about Opera Mail then add the 'Opera Mail' tag

In the post (body) you should include the following information:

Your OS (Linux, Mac, Windows)

Your version of Opera

If the problem is with a page, a link to it

A screen-shot of the problem if it's related to something not showing as should

A description of the problem, including as much as information as possible

Steps to (try to) reproduce the issue

Expected behavior and actual one

@nkrishnaswami Looks like it's fixed. All my extensions are working with version 110.0.5130.13, but I had to re-enable affected extensions manually. Not just repair them on the Extensions page (it had no effect), but go to the Chrome store and turn them on there.

But maybe you won't have to do it if you're updating from a version where the extensions are still working.

Noticed that I can't close the first tab when clicking on the tab's leftsided 'x'. All other tabs work as expected and close after a click; the first one left doesn't, irrespective of the particular site. Tab Islands is active in Opera One (Opera Developer). It's an interesting feature, although I would like more customisation.

Occasionally, I have encountered a similar issue, although it is not very common. After investigating, I discovered that the problem was caused by a faulty plugin and the autohide settings on my sidebar. It might be worth checking these elements to see if they are contributing to the problem. After removing the defective extension, everything returned to its usual working order.

Goto the URL opera://settings/passwords and make sure "Offer to save passwords" is off.

Also, at the URL opera://extensions, make sure the extension is set to run on search result pages (to make sure it's not disabled on any search engines you want to save and use login data for).

New Opera's flags:
#platform-aac-decoder-in-gpu (Mac/Windows, disabled by default - work in progress)
Controls whether the platform AAC decoder runs in the GPU process instead of the renderer process.

#ui-compositor-multithreaded (enabled by default - ready to test it)
Use separate compositor thread in the browser UI.

The flags #snapshot-full-page and #tab-tooltip-close-tabs are enabled in this version (ready to check them).

New Opera's flag #speed-dial-custom-image (disabled by default - work in progress).
Allow users to edit their Speed Dial item image on Start Page.

Some changes, fixes and improvements:
- DNA-103097 [Settings] enable ‘Adjust Speed Dial animations for slower hardware’ option to have effect
