I have been using Opera for years, but it has morphed into a Useless Browser for me. Every Page that I now Open is full of GIANT SIZE SYMBOLS & I CAN NEVER SEEM TO GET TO THE PAGE ITSELF. Opera was not like that before the update, and the pages now do not seem to make any sense to me on Opera, although there are no problems with these SAME PAGES OPENED IN EDGE, FIREFOX, CHROME, EPIC, AVAST, etc. If I had the same problem on the other browsers, I would look elsewhere for a solution. but the problem is ONLY ON OPERA. I formerly used Opera as my main browser, and there are things on Opera that are not on the other browsers, and until I can fix this problem with pages opening in the GIANT SYMBOLS, I have lost all of the work I have done on Opera, and I will have to make changes to my everyday browser use if I CANNOT FIND A WAY TO USE OPERA TO OPEN PAGES, etc. Some of it might be on me, as I am generally an ignorant old M.D.,Ph.D. who can understand things that are written in the vernacular, but some of the instructions that I receive I can only follow by rote because I do not understand them, and if I am told to expect a process or procedure and it is not readily visible and labeled using the same descriptor or title previously I am lost. I apparently lack some obscure skill necessary to make it work. I really NEED A SIMPLE SET OF INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE PAGES OPEN THE WAY THAT THEY USED TO ON OPERA AND TO GET RID OF THE GIANT MAGNIFYING GLASS OR WHATEVER THAT SYMBOL IS THAT NOW TAKES UP MOST OF THE SCREEN AND LACKS ANY READILY INTERPRETABLE MEANING. IT IS JUST FORCES ME TO PAGE DOWN ON THE MONITOR UNTIL IT HOPEFULLY, BUT NOT CONSISTENTLY, WILL EVENTUALLY MORPH INTO A DISPLAY ON THE SCREEN IN A FORM WHICH PRESENTS ITSELF AS BEING SOMETHING RECOGNIZABLE. The problem remains in that it ONLY BECOMES VISIBLE, IN A USEFUL FORMAT SOME OF THE TIME.
