  @leocg There's a lot of basic things missing from Opera. They add more and more features and never finish them off before starting the next one.

  You'd think with an update every 5 seconds (what are we on now, version 150? Don't they realise you could use 17.4?) they'd have solved all the problems in the universe by now.

  What is "middle click"? I wasn't aware this was a thing in windows. I've programmed my middle button to de a delete key using xmouse. Are you telling me there is a standard middle click function? No other program uses a third button. Before I programmed it into xmouse I got some weird scroll symbol then the scroll worked by moving the mouse, some kinda scroll lock I didn't like. Why would this function tell Opera to open a tab in the foreground?

  I use macos 15.5 (intel cpu). I installed the latest opera air. But when I start the app, I keep getting the error message: at least one file with resources(.pak) is corrupted. please reinstall opera.

  @pu239 I'm not seeing a lag when clicking on extensions. There was with the enhanced address bar feature, recently, but it's back to normal for me.

  I use the dark theme and the display is fine (white text, black background) with my choice of "Force dark mode on pages" from the Easy setup link in the address bar. If dark mode is not forced, then your extension's display of the workspaces and tab counts will be invisible, unless moused over to select.

  With the light theme, the text is black over a light grey background.

  I also was going to criticize the continuing 'copy-paste' of the same browser. But there are already detailed responses, so nothing to comment more. Also, It's nice to see that there are still people who are not influenced by the AI hype.
