Which makes it fairly useless when it fails. For a "prime" example, pardon the pun, on Amazon's product pages it fails to block the autoplay videos. They are quite thoroughly annoying, on most product pages, when scrolling through the product images. It takes multiple times of hitting pause to get them to stop! And then they hijack your Bluetooth focus, when it was set to something else.

@letivaspurr: Thank you. Better than what any of these translation extensions offer. I was looking for full-page translation without new URLs, like Google's native one.

Yep. I saw multiple things direct here for full page translation and this doesn't do that.

Please tell Opera if you hate the new look and function as much as I do. I find it a huge step backwards. Hate it, Opera!!
Looks like from another thread there is no way back. Even if you put the old version back on, it updates when you restart... Sigh...

Problem solved. It was blocked by a VPN. Disabling it and its other features for a one time setup did help. Thank you for trying to help me.

@26ramunas Sometimes links are set by the server to be downloaded and would require an extension to bypass this setting. Additionally, DOC is not a file type supported by the browser itself (though it could be set to open in one of those online office suites if you have visited such a site previously). Chromium-based browsers certainly can open PDF links in the browser but will follow directions from the server on whether to do so; Mozilla is probably ignoring those directions. Without specific examples we couldn't say for sure though.

@sonicocaine: Most desktop managers I've used make it pretty easy to set the opacity of windows, so you shouldn't need a browser add-on to do it. Try right-clicking the title bar, or going to the window manager options in your OS's settings app. If you're using Windows or something then maybe you can't do it, but I've been doing it for decades under Mint, Debian and BSD. Doesn't meet my needs because of the 1920×1200 maximum size. I was trying to work out why my custom size, which I need because I'm designing for phone screens, wasn't working. When I saved 1080×2160, a fairly modest phone resolution, there was no error message; it just didn't resize when I selected from the menu. Documentation of this restriction is buried deep in the FAQ https://mybrowseraddon.com/window-resizer.html so I wasted some time trying to work out what was broken.

This tool would be much more useful if this arbitrary restriction were removed. It would also be very helpful to be able to specify the size of the viewport, not just the window.

How long are these April Fool's shortcuts going to remain?
The Alt+Shift+M shortkey is hindering the one I use(d) a lot for a plug-in during development work and it is becoming extremely annoying.
I find it unbelievable how such a thing (messing with peoples personal settings/preferences) was even considered an option as a joke like this.
