Gap between sidebar and side panel when auto-hide is enabled

I guess the gap = shadow effect

I reported earlier https://forums.opera.com/post/398368
that sometimes panel can't be closed due to the too wide shadow effect.

But I noticed that menus/dropdowns can be closed without problem if clicking on the shadow (the shadow area is active). But it doesn't work in case of the sidebar panel.
*So I guess the menu's shadow effect better suits for using with the panel (if it is possible).

Fresh install of this version. Can't play videos. IIRC it had something to do with libffmpeg.so. If someone know how exactly to fix this please let me know.

Hasn't a security engineer noticed yet that opening a scanned QR code immediately is dangerous? We should be able to see what's inside the QR code first and decide what to do with it! After all, a link in a QR code can be dangerous! For example, Brave simply pastes the address into the search engine—take a page from them.

Just for clarification: If I'd ever chose to use Claude and ChatGPT via the Browser Connector will they automatically have access to my opened websites and how will this relate to the privacy of my data?
Or are they only allowed to have access if I use them actively?
But for sure: Claude an ChatGPT would run in their cloud and not only locally on my laptop then?

I figured it out - if the browser is in full screen, the function is displayed, but when you reduce the browser window to a certain zoom level, the function disappears..) I understand, thanks.
