We want to share an important update regarding the recent issue affecting MV2 extensions.

A bug in the update rollout caused these extensions to become temporarily unavailable. This was not intentional, and we halted the rollout immediately once the problem was identified. Thanks to your quick feedback, we were able to catch the issue early. We truly appreciate your vigilance, support, and patience. We’re happy to let you know that we have now released a fixed version: 125.0.5729.15. This update restores proper MV2 extension support. We also want to reassure you that nothing has changed regarding our support for MV2 extensions. If we ever reach a point where we can no longer support them, we will communicate that clearly and in advance.

Indeed, the bug you described has been reproduced. We logged it as RNA-568 and will inform our developers about it.

• About the "Recently Closed" section at the top: thank you for the suggestion!

• For the category bubbles: the thin border is the intended design to show selection, but we get that it might not be super clear. The idea of using the filled inverted style like on the downloads page is a good one.

• As for the search issues: it sounds like after typing three characters, if there are no matches, the history list updates and the input goes back to its default (larger) version. If that’s what’s happening, it’s expected behavior - but we’ll take another look to make sure everything's working smoothly.

@andrew84 We’ve logged two new issues based on your feedback:

• RNA-540 – [History refresh] Search history input field not fully clickable

• RNA-541 – [History refresh] Text cutoff in search input when typing with spaces

As for the zoom behavior, we’ll need to think this one through a bit more before deciding on the best approach. The last issue you mentioned (losing focus when there are no matches) will likely be covered under the task related to typing with spaces.

Regarding the bar appearing under the Speed Dial, could you share a bit more detail about when it appears so we can investigate further?
