As a workaround disable these 2 flags and the old popup will be back.

Web page content's border and new modular design.Appearance
You have plans to improve how the modules visually are separated, especially web page content?
The border around web page content bothers me. I'd prefer no bold black (white in light theme) borders between web page and display's edges (including bottom). And no border between edge of the screen and sidebar or scrollbar.

[Suggestion] Remove the purple menu/dropdowns highlighted items in dark/light themeAppearance
Remove the same purple selection for menus and dropdowns for both dark and light themes. Make it look normal and pleasant to eyes like in other browsers or software. It means different gray accents for dark and light themes instead of the bright purple.

try improving tabs management
Obvious conclusion.
And not just a try, it really improved the tabs management, and 'Search in tabs' worsened it. -
RE: Where is the "Recently closed tabs/Tab menu" button on the top right?Opera for computers
Instead of simply improving/restyling the existing TabMenu and adding a search field there they replaced it with a part taken from the removed 'InstantSearch' feature (InstantSearch had the 'search for tabs' feature, by the way, but it was said that the InstantSearch was unpopular feature that's why it was removed. So it's worth asking why we have a part from unpopular feature in the top right corner now).
Now they are trying to recreate the already existing and well working tabs management popup (I mean Tab Menu), but it seems that the final result (regarding the functionality) will be worse anyway than the existing one. That what I can call as 'wasted developers resources'. -

@leocg Look what I've found https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/2017/08/exportable-bookmarks-smoother-videos-design-improvements-opera-47/
Yes, I agree with Opera, this a handy shortcut to my history log. -

I thought it was a nice refresh of the interface, so now I'm skeptical about it.
I was skeptical already when I first launched the 'One' version. The refreshed interface looks cool only on their promotional videos and screenshots, but the user experience suffered a lot actually.

new location of the list in Menu->History
This is not a new location, 'recently closed' short list has always been there. When they recommend to use OMenu > History instead they are just trying to justify their weird decision regarding the removed TabMenu. OMenu is not the same as TabMenu, otherwise the TabMenu wouldn't have been necessary and implemented at all in the past.

RE: Help us create a better address bar experienceBlogs
Make the 'top sites' pane optional (expand arrow or switchable off in Setting) and add 'quick action' buttons (Copy/Paste/Print/Find/Full screen/Save as PDF and similar)
*As for the shortcuts, it's better to make it customizable and offer users select what shortcuts each users want. 5-6 shortcuts for example, from the range of browser options (20 -30 most important options/elements/pages).
And my suggestion also is to focus more on options that directly refer to currently opened page and on address field/text, not on some global browsers features (that's why I'd like to see quick buttons).

RE: Opera 116Blogs
@tastodd Personally, I have never regretted that I stay on pre One version, it works smoother and looks cleaner. In my opinion forcing GX's accents (with its colorful glitter/tinsel) into the regular Opera was a bad idea. And the hyped wrapper has become much more important than content.

only in the context menu and on the bookmarks bar the text for some reason remains black and almost unreadable
Here the text also unreadable in the extensions and page information popups.
And the text is the same barely visible in dark mode in the SearchTabs dialog.
Edit;
the problem appeared after they've 'fixed' the invisible parent menu's item.

@daria19 It's sad to hear that you're trying to present the clear flaws in the new themes feature like something related to the 'design'.

Midsommar and Aurora are available and I can set them, but their wallpapers don't work (just light-blue-gray for Midsommar and black for Aurora), even if I turn off animation.
I'm sure it's something with my old Intel HD 3000 GPU as for why the wallpapers don't workI also tried on old laptop with HD 4000 GPU and have exactly the same symptoms you described. A bit strange because it works on other old PC which is 2 years younger but have Pentium cpu with some unknown HD graphics vs i3 with HD 4000.

Btw, I know that ImTranslator is an advanced Google Translate extension, but I still would like the Google translate be also available. https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/google-translate/
Currently when trying to install it the ImTranslator is installed instead because Google translate is still not reviewed (as it said in comments by ImTranslator team).
So how soon it will be reviewed and approved? -

any extensions downloaded from sources outside of addons.opera.com are not verified or officially supported by Opera.
There used to be a special addon developed by Opera to support Chrome Extensions called 'Install Chrome Extensions'
The blog post regarding this
https://blogs.opera.com/tips-and-tricks/2021/10/using-addons-from-chrome-in-opera/Later the support has become as built-in by default.
So I wouldn't say that this is not officially supported. -
