Opera doesn’t offer a built-in “one-click” way to back up your whole session, but you can still save everything including workspaces, tabs, history, bookmarks, and settings by simply closing Opera and making a copy of its profile folder (found at C:\Users<YourName[>]\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable). Keep that copy somewhere safe, and if you ever need to restore your session, just replace the current profile folder with your backup.

Hello,

I was using Opera Beta and opened a lot of tabs, unfortunately it's a website that somehow made Opera use a lot of memory and it got killed by the OOM killer.

After reopenning Opera, only 2 of my 4 windows got restored, with no way of restoring them, nor any traces of the lost tabs in the history.

I only have a backup from last Sunday (6 days ago).
Is there any way to recover all those tabs from Opera itself or should I consider them forever lost and restore from the backup?

Browser info (translated from Spanish):

Opera One (version: 121.0.5600.12)
Updates channel :beta
System: Fedora Linux 42 (KDE Plasma Desktop Edition) (x86_64; KDE)
Chromium Version :137.0.7151.27

And not just the icon blocks but also being able to freely arrange the icons individually. I have extension icons that I would like to place at the top of the sidebar, but it won’t let me. Nor will it let me place the extension icons above Opera’s tools at the bottom of the sidebar.

@alixnight Not automatically. You can click on the tabs icon in sidebar to see opened tabs in other devices and open them locally.
New tabs are blank

Not sure why you're typing it as though I've already done it, but yes I found that, I'll see if it works. Youtube just does it randomly without asking, I'm not sure what triggers it.

@kikonen It's not a bug. You can request a way to disable the shortcut in the proper forum.
