Impossible to choose default view in Bookmarks

Hi! There is a weird issue about bookmarks interface - there is no way to make the same default view for ALL folders! I mean, there is a default view - Small icons (actually, I would rather call them Medium, but there is no smaller ones, only List view). You can change it to Large icons (and they are really large!) or to List view, which is great. But the change applies to current folder only, which is absurd! Or, at least there could be a checkbox, something like "Apply to all folders". Otherwise it's just so annoying to use!
Also (that's, of course, only my personal opinion), it seems to make more sense to make List view the default view - it is the most informative (at least for desktop/laptop computers).
Hope this will be implemented in future releases. Thanks! -

I'd like to second this. Opera is a very intuitive browser, and I was very surprised that this is not a feature (from what I can find anyway).

Opera is really a great browser with lots of feature. Even bookmark synchronization is great feature for ability to access bookmark, but when we access bookmark, user should have choice for viewability. It is a recommended feature request to opera team in year 2021.

come on guys, this shouldn't be a problem to solve, give an option to set all bookmarks to "list view". i have like 500 folders imported from chrome, entering each folder to see a picture is very annoying, "list view" is what i like, but i hate to go in each folder to click it in order to find it next time there
any extension for this? if the developers are not capable to offer it
