Same thing is happening for me. Matter of fact, I had to type in a handful of different passwords just to get on here and comment. I like Opera so much better than Safari, but if there's no functioning password manager then that's def a bummer.

What about clicking "Clear Browsing Data" in the Opera menu? You can choose a number of things to clear from there.

It is working. Maybe I was looking in the wrong place. SeaMonkey is my regular browser, and it pops up a dialog box over the window when offering to save a password. Thanks for giving me the hint.

Hi @byter86, you can see which tab uses how much memory by using Opera's internal task manager. To do this, click View -> Show Developer Menu in the menu first, and then use Developer -> Task Manager. Perhaps you'll see there's a certain site that makes Opera use a lot of memory.

If you want a workaround to free some memory, restarting the browser will keep your open tabs, but it will only load the 10 most recently used ones immediately.

Hello, Opera doesn't support customizing the toolbar.

You can see the list of navigation items for the back and forward button by clicking and holding your left mouse button on them.
