@leonhardttobias can you try again to update from the site mentioned before, https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/about/ ?

flash worked fine before update and works on any other browser.

This doesn't really mean you don't have to update.
Opera blacklists older versions of Flash when they have security issues, so that's why it could work before and not now.
And working on other browsers doesn't mean that much; Safari and Firefox use a different type of Flash plug-in (NPAPI instead of PPAPI) and Chrome comes with a bundled version of Flash instead of using the one installed on your system.

i had to download the deinstall-manager and remove flash from my mac, then i download the new flash version on the website for opera and also the npapi-plug-in version via mac-settings. now it seems that everything is ok.

The MacOS analog of .exe is .app. The installer package is .dmg for Mac.

Please ignore the other info here, you can log into several accounts on gmail without any other work in the browser or having to create multiple profiles or any of that, since Google supports this with gmail

But just in case you can/want "merge" info and don't care about user identification on multiple accounts.

@concretable I do use the built in ad blocker a lot. But recently many news websites are detecting ad blockers and are restricting access until the ad blocker whitelists their website. Additionally on websites where ad blocker does work, blank spaces are left behind where ads are supposed to be. I was just thinking a distraction free reading mode with suitable font and simple background would be a nice addition to opera's impressive set of features.

I am sure that using 1 or 2 would work with MacOS if I wanted to use the advanced shortcuts. I am not interested. Most of the time, I click on the tab to select it. If I have a lot of tabs, I can drop down the list of tabs and select one from there.

I had faced the same problem recently as opera://plugins is no longer working. If you want to check/update your flash plugin version, you may use the link: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html
You will be able to check your flash version and if needed update it.

That page does not give the whole version number. The whole number is 25.0.0.171, and I want to see the entire number. Now, I need to locate the plugin on my hard drive, open the app package and read info.plist just to read the version number. I should not have to go to extremes like that just to read a version number.

I can read the whole version number from settings in Safari and in Mozilla browsers, so why not with Opera?

@trickst3r, thanks for the screenshot. Have you tried updating to the newest version of Opera? We have had an issue in the past where sites were not resized properly, and it was fixed some time ago.

Hi @jcclose1, it's hard to say without knowing the site, but if you have ad-blocking turned on, try turning it off for that site.

You do this by clicking the blue shield on the address bar (while you're on the Citi site), and clicking the switch next to "Ads are blocked on this site".

Also, if you have Opera Turbo turned on (Menu: Opera -> Opera Turbo), turn it off.

Hi @geoffreylevens,

Do you have Opera Turbo turned on (Menu: Opera -> Opera Turbo)? If so, turn it off. It's only beneficial on very slow internet connections, and might slow you down or cause problems when you're on a fast internet connection.

If you don't, tell us a bit more about one site where you see the problem, and we can probably check what's happening.

You can export Safari's bookmarks as HTML, and import them into Opera. I did that, but with SeaMonkey's bookmarks. You would have to redo the bookmarks toolbar from the HTML copy.

To disable that on Mac... Menu -> Opera -> Opera Turbo
