Not a great problem yes, but in Chrome or Firefox, I don't have to do two clicks instead of none...
And in Opera on Windows, I don't have to either, that's why my comment. Why is there a difference of behaviour between Mac and Windows ?
@sgunhouse thanks for the response. Ok, so then there is no cancel mechanism for the navigation. This is different than Firefox (tab-switch with preview) and Mac OS x app navigation; both allow cancellation of the navigation.
I found the "Do not allow any site to show desktop notifications" however, this can break functionality on some sites, so its preferable if the window is more noticeable or doesnt lock up the page UI.
On the other platforms the only way to transfer passwords is Sync. Passwords are encrypted to the user account (not the name) and the operating systems never saw fit to create a way to transfer accounts to a new machine. Delete the various Login files and you'll be able to save passwords again (and still keep bookmarks and sessions).
