Plus one for this from me.
What I find odd is that you can ctrl/shift + select multiple tabs, the UI does support this, yet you can't do anything with them!

I haven't been able to track down exactly what's causing this, but I'll describe it anyway. I've noticed when refreshing a tab (Cmd+R) or reloading the same URL (Cmd+L, enter) that occasionally it will go to a new, different page I have recently visited in another tab or window. I'm pretty sure it's started happening in the last couple of weeks. Has anyone else seen this?
@jasongr Same here. Version 100.0.4815.47. When a background tab refreshes itself Opera is bringing that tab to the foreground. Please fix.
Bump. I think this feature deserves continued attention.

I'm currently on 52.0.2871.99 and I can't remember this happening recently. I'm going to say it's fixed, whatever it was.
Yes, confirmed still occurring on 51.0.2830.26. I'm sorry I can't provide any more information. It's pretty random so hard to get some concrete reproducible steps.

Please add an option to hide the new share button I have just seen appear next to the download button on the right of the address bar. Thanks.

I don't see a way to edit the built-in default search engines, but you could simply create a new one with the keyword 'wfr' say for French, and use the url https://fr.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?search=%s
