This is working for me now on Opera version 109.0.5097.80. Finally! (opera://flags/#drag-multiple-tabs is enabled by default and working correctly). Thank you. It only took 7 years!

RE: Select multiple tabs and drag to a new windowSuggestions and feature requests
@leocg So the expected behaviour is that I cannot drag a tab to a new window? There must be a misunderstanding, surely you can't be preventing this behaviour by design?

RE: Select multiple tabs and drag to a new windowSuggestions and feature requests
@leocg I have enabled this. I now cannot drag any tab out into a separate window. Not even a single one. Bug?

RE: Background tabs/windows getting into foregroundOpera for Windows
@jasongr Same here. Version 100.0.4815.47. When a background tab refreshes itself Opera is bringing that tab to the foreground. Please fix.

Bump. I think this feature deserves continued attention.

RE: Select multiple tabs and drag to a new windowSuggestions and feature requests
Plus one for this from me.
What I find odd is that you can ctrl/shift + select multiple tabs, the UI does support this, yet you can't do anything with them!
Please add!

RE: Refresh is changing pageOpera for Mac
I'm currently on 52.0.2871.99 and I can't remember this happening recently. I'm going to say it's fixed, whatever it was.

RE: Refresh is changing pageOpera for Mac
Yes, confirmed still occurring on 51.0.2830.26. I'm sorry I can't provide any more information. It's pretty random so hard to get some concrete reproducible steps.

Refresh is changing pageOpera for Mac
Version: 50.0.2762.67 System: Mac OS X 10.11.6 64-bit
I haven't been able to track down exactly what's causing this, but I'll describe it anyway. I've noticed when refreshing a tab (Cmd+R) or reloading the same URL (Cmd+L, enter) that occasionally it will go to a new, different page I have recently visited in another tab or window. I'm pretty sure it's started happening in the last couple of weeks. Has anyone else seen this?

Please add an option to hide the new share button I have just seen appear next to the download button on the right of the address bar. Thanks.

RE: How to change the language of wikipedia when searching from the location barOpera for Mac
Use the search engine preferences. opera://settings/searchEngines
I don't see a way to edit the built-in default search engines, but you could simply create a new one with the keyword 'wfr' say for French, and use the url https://fr.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?search=%s - Opera for Mac

Agreed. There should be a way to dismiss a handler request for good without effecting other handlers.

RE: Opera_44.0.2510.857 crashingOpera for Mac
Just backing up what @bleduc1 said - it is only the 'Ctrl+click -> open in new tab' that is causing the crash.
Cmd+click works fine. As does 'right click -> open in new tab'.
I have tested with/out external monitor, trackpad vs bluetooth mouse, laptop keyboard vs usb keyboard - all of those variables make no difference. As stated above it is only the Ctrl+click case that breaks (consistently, whatever the mouse/kb/monitor combination).Any updates from the dev team?

There is an existing thread discussing this issue here. Let's keep the discussion there.

RE: Opera_44.0.2510.857 crashingOpera for Mac
Me too. MacBookPro OS X El Capitan 10.11.6, Opera 44.0.2510.857. The crashing is definitely related to opening links in new tabs. In my experience when you Ctrl+Click and Open In New Tab it doesn't crash until you actually go to the new tab. Happens pretty much every time for me. Only since the version 44 upgrade.
Surely the admins have seen hundreds of crash reports sent in - is there any comment from one of the developers?
