During a clean-up, I happened to erase a cookie that I should have left alone. I now want to restore it via Time Machine, which means I need to know which folder it was stored in. Does anyone know?

Cookies are in Opera's profile in a file called "Cookies" (no extension). Opera's profile is called com.operasoftware.Opera.

If i wanted to access this profile via Finder, where should I look?

You should be able to find the path to it in Menu > About Opera.

Thanks. This way I'm able to locate the Application support folder, which should contain Opera's profile. However, it doesn't.

I'm running on OS X 10.9.5 (Mavericks) by the way, maybe the structure is different there?

From Finder, click "Go -> Go to Folder" from the menu and enter

                ~/Library/Application Support/com.operasoftware.Opera
