Also, the Make Opera Yours widget on the Start Page has received a major refresh. It now features a new welcome experience, a simple five-step progress indicator, improved theme selection, and a redesigned success screen, making it easier and more enjoyable to personalize Opera

Maybe I'm missing smth. but is it possible to clarify what's the widget about, how to try it and where to find it?
Or it refers to the browser install wizard?

@andrew84: Hello, the widget appears for fresh installations - it's a quick configuration for new users. You can check it by making a fresh installation, ex. USB and skipping the onboarding.

The name and description is a bit confusing though.
I though that the 'widget on the start page' is some equivalent to old widgets which used to be in old versions where widgets were as a tiles (weather, calender, time and so on), there also was a dedicated section on Opera add-ons page.

Hi, following up on BUG-27259. The inconsistent Slovak translations are still present in Opera 138. Could you please review and align the terminology across the UI? Also, the Czech localization may be worth checking for similar inconsistencies.

@cvm: I’m reporting a bug where the login popup does not show the system close button when vertical tabs are enabled. If I switch the tabs back to horizontal, the close button appears in the popup as expected.

Opera 138 on occasion simply closes down and reboots itself.

@bbildman: Opera 138 propensity to just shut down (especially at the most inopportune moments) is exasperating, can the Opera team please take a look at this????

I’ve also run into this issue.
It’s very annoying.
A solution is needed urgently.
You could even mark it as critical.

Thanks for the update! It’s great to see Opera 138 getting improvements, especially with Chromium updates and better stability. I hope the team also looks into the small bugs and UI issues mentioned here to make the overall browsing experience even smoother.

@karen-arzumanyan: I may have tracked down the source of this behavoir, I had an extension called Opera Ad blocker, at this web site, looks like it actually came from the Opera Software team, maybe it is outmoded, at this web site::

I disabled all my extensions and one by one I enabled them, and the crash happens when I enable this extansion

@bbildman: I have two extensions enabled: "Opera Ad blocker" and "uBlock Origin."
The issue with restarts began after the update of Opera One from version 137 to 138.
Thanks for the tip, I’ve disabled the "Opera Ad blocker" extension and will monitor how it behaves.
