RNA-4869 Make Vertical Tabs panel part of same container as sidebar when using autohide

I don't understand why the sidebar and the vertical tabs bar are still linked together? If I want to see the auto hidden sidebar, why should I see the vertical tabs and vice versa?
Each panel should have own autohide mode

Also, the autohide mode for the vertical tabs shouldn't mean that the bar is hidden completely but only favicons are visible and on hover the panel should autoexpand (like in Edge).

And to avoid the cluttering one (or both) pane should have the appear on the right edge option

It seems I discovered the bug which results crashing.

-try typing smth. in the address bar
          -the suggestons dropdown appears
-now put cursor over a tab until the tooltip appears
-the suggestion dropdown disappears but leaves the dimmed area.
-now clicking anywhere crashes the browser.

In the vertical bar, dragging a card copies it, not moves it. It's the same in the last stable version.

My proposals for changes in Opera (Google Document).

@andrew84: Thanks, I can see we already have this crash reported and we are currently working on it.

@jojo0587: Hi, for me it works fine, it must be some edge case. Can you write more details? What OS is it? Are you using tab island this time (dragging tabs to/from tab islands?) or split screen, or you move tabs between workspaces?

@opera-qa-team: i have Windows 11 Home. No, the bug appears even when you have 1 card, so when there is no card island. And also without a split screen and I moved the card within one card island. If you want, I will record a video and post a private video on YT (only for those who have the link).

My proposals for changes in Opera (Google Document).

@jojo0587: Recording would help a lot! And does it happen all the time, or just after some interactions with tabs? Does the problem disappear after restarting the browser or not?

Could you please publish it under "Developer" and not "Desktop". Same mistake was made with the previous release.

Opera team, please bring back the double-click function on a tab that would raise the page up and then drop it back to where it was raised from.

@tspringer But this is an Opera for desktops release. It could also be under Developer label, but it shouldn't be removed from the Desktop one.
