It would be easier to read which tab one is current if all the others were a different color, not just one tab a little "raised." For example:

@genegold The one tab a little "raised" is not always the current one, as I just noticed. Like the way Safari does it, where the current one is white and the others are a gray.

Not sure what to make of it, but Privacy Badger extension shows an update -- Privacy Badger
Version 2025.1.29 by efforg -- but the Update button on the drop-down is nonresponsive. First time.

@genegold: years ago we could apply "skins" to style the interface. I liked one called BeOS, which provided dark tabs with a yellow highlight for the active tab. Over recent years I've used extensions to always place the active tab at either far left or far right of all the other tabs. Tab Slider, from the Opera collection of extensions, places the tab to the left, but wasn't functioning correctly so I moved on to the Most Recent Used Tab Stack extension for Chrome, which has the option to place the active tab rightmost, which I prefer. It ceased working yesterday, pending approval for its update, and I dearly hope for its return. As well as a user selectable colour highlight for the active tab, I would like a choice of constant width.

@genegold: Hello! Thanks for reaching out! Which button exactly is not working? Are you referring to the button in Opera's extensions page (opera://extensions)?

@genegold: Thanks for the feedback! We've made some changes to the transparency of tabs in DNA-120829, which will be included in the next developer update. Let us know what you think once it's available!

@daria19 See screenshot. When I click on the Update button in the pop up, it disappears and nothing happens. Except almost every time I open Opera the extension notice appears at the top

                              Still have this bug :
after closing the page by pressing the home button, the page closes, but the address remains in the address bar. Refreshing the page helps - the address disappears from the address bar.

                              Linux Debian / Deepin

The "Link Copied" pop up that's just appeared (here) with this build, is there a way to turn it off. It's a PITA.

@leocg: Well, let's hope someone changes that. In the realm of functionality, the way it's implemented is not is counterproductive (to put it nicely). It sits for some seconds, blocking the ability to get to the tab behind it. I can see why someone thought that having a way to let the user know copying was successful might be a good idea. It's just that it's placement, or perhaps how it's conveyed, needs rethinking.

The in-built Reader View seems to have disappeared, since I last needed it.
I want to save long Grok Conversations, but Save as PDF isn't up to the task.
I can use a Reader View extension and save the HTML, but the styling is lost.
