For some reason when I open the player home on the side bar, the offer doesn't show up. Instead, there is just text that reads "Listen to Spotify as you browse with Opera's detachable music player" and then a link to Spotify in the player below. I live in an eligible country and have the latest version of Opera. Can someone please help me figure this out?
@andrew84: The colour of the text under the speed dial buttons has been a problem for some time because depending unon the background used the text can be difficult to read. The colour seems to be fixed in a particular theme. I now have one machine using Win11pro and it seems worse there and particularly inside the grouped buttons it can be white on white and nearly impossible to read. If we could change the text colour independently of other factors then users couldadapt to the background used.
@frozenfan53: Thanks for the detailed update! That’s really helpful. We’re aware of some limitations with Spotify integration and the miniplayer behavior, and we’re actively looking into improvements. Your feedback about needing to start playback from Opera’s player and the issue with repositioning the miniplayer is especially useful. We appreciate you taking the time to explain everything so clearly!
@sheriffofgrace: This most esteemed contraption hath resumed its proper function once more. Verily, I dare not proclaim whether the cause be the advent of a novel iteration of the browsing apparatus or, perchance, the ineffable machinations of divine providence.
@whisperer Hello, thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Currently, there is no dedicated option to switch between Workspaces when the sidebar is disabled. We appreciate your suggestion and will take it into consideration for future improvements.
this feature should have been off by default... imo any "feature" that is not critical or solely for aesthetics should be off by default and a tour should be implemented on new features letting you decide if you want it on or off
