You should be able to right-click . . .

Thanks, tried that, but it doesn't copy. Dragging and dropping is what I do, but I'm going to need carpal tunnel surgery after all that.

@burnout426 Thanks for the reply!

I ran opera
--user-data-dir=~/Desktop/operatest
it worked perfectly. This confirmed the issue was inside my old profile at
~/.config/opera.

Yes, I'm using the .deb file from the official website.

No, I don't use any other command-line arguments. I only run it via the terminal to test and see the logs.

I actually updated Chromium, but it didn't solve the problem.

I also tested Chromium 153.0.8010.52 from the Linux Mint repositories, and it launches perfectly fine without any "Illegal instruction" errors.

Since the test profile worked, I moved my old profile to a backup (mv ~/.config/opera ~/.config/opera_backup) and launched Opera normally.

To be fair, I solved my problem, but I can't easily explain how to fix it to my coworkers since they don't know anything about the terminal. They can try the GUI method instead, though I'm not really good at explaining this stuff.

The other day, I discovered that in Firefox you can hit ctrl+shift+M and a dropdown appears at the top of the browser window, where you can choose popular cell/tablet models and see how well your site works at those sizes.
I building a site for a friend in Wix Editor - (I know you can view the site in a generic phone sized window) but for checking out how the site works in landscape/portrait tablet sized windows is a tremendous help.
Any chance this can be implemented in Opera please.

@wildch1ld you're welcome 🙂 I'd definitely check out the addon zalex108 recommended, it is quite handy and simple to use.

@hanky Why include the /mnt and all that?

Wine is able to access ext4 partitions just fine - though recall in a Windows program you will be using \ instead of /. And of course, your user will need read and write access to the files and folders.

I would have assigned K as /mnt/GENERAL/ and then set Opera's default mail folder as K:\mail\ or some such. It doesn't make sense to assign K as \ and then make root mail folder K:\mnt\GENERAL\mail\

You can simply disable any of these, yet you'll lose functionality obviously. As usual, on the off chance that you see anything odd on your modules page, make sure to inquire about it somewhat more to ensure it's nothing that could cause issues regarding widevine Content Decryption Module.

@zalex108 said in Tab Handling in Opera:

Despite it's a monthly topic. xD

To deal with that chaos I use, Group your tabs and OneTab, both from Chrome store.

You'll need Install Chrome extension from Opera Addons, before install them.

It works on ODev version.

Look at How to report problems in Opera steps.

For the clean profile:
Opera Help > Find solutions.
| - And rename the profile folder -.

@kamrana Save it as .mhtml, this does not produce a .html file and a folder, just one file. You should enable it here first: opera://flags/#save-page-as-mhtml . Alternatively you could use the "Pocket" extension, (needs registration though).
