I see, I’m really sorry to hear that. Honestly, the only thing I can think of is regularly backing up the whole Opera profile folder, especially if you’re having problems like this more than once. It’s a pain, but at least you’d have a way to get things back instead of starting from scratch. I hope everything works out!

I have the same issue and these sidebar shortcuts are the ABC of why I use Opera... they should fix it as soon as possible.

A

"Mouse Right Click(Hold) + Move Left/Right" actions should be replaceable with "Cycle tabs" action like Vivaldi. This is very important feature. Making tab changing and exploring very fast.

What are you talking about? You can use Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V, you can right click on a selected text and click on copy and then right click on an empty text field and use paste, etc.

@graveyardgirl there is an opera add-on, site settings sidebar. setting plugin+NPAPI plugin to allow (pop-up too if needed) enabled the flash and i could display any flash content without problems. you set this once on any desired website, and opoen it in a new tab, it saves that setting and will always display the flash content without having to click to play.

also there is another workaround, https://forums.opera.com/topic/23326/flash-player-does-not-work-can-not-be-able/80

maybe one of these options will work for you. I know it's not a complete solution, but it's decent enough workarounds.

@zalex108 Yes, thank you! I got the situation when the command "pin sidebar" just moved the sidebar from left edge of window to right side of ext.bar, but never removed it. Now it is OK.

Go to https://sync.opera.com/web/ and reset your synced data (all your synced data will be removed from Opera's servers). Then go to sync settings and set a new pass-phrase.
