Appreciate the reply.

This matter is now closed. I don't know how or why. But it started working again after a few days. Only thing I can remember doing is removing Google Chrome from my computer and then Opera booted again.

Weird. But again thanks for replying.

I have to add, that it worked once correctly with ad blocking disabled but next time not.
And with VPN enabled it surprisingly worked as well.

sudo mkdir -p /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/opera-stable/lib_extra sudo cp libffmpeg.so /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/opera-stable/lib_extra/

I had exactly the same complaint regarding the feature yet in pre One version.

I thought they listened the feedback because later a flag appeared which allowed to turn off options you don't need.
But now the flag disappeared and the options were not implemented.

@perk-one In that case, you could simply press CTRL + SHIFT + N (Open a new private window), then log in to sync.opera.com from that window. Then, you shouldn't have sync issues, because Opera Sync isn't active in private windows.
