I tend to have opera on in the background whenever I’m gaming, recently I’ve been having trouble while playing Valorant. I’ve been seeing that my Opera’s CPU would sometimes spike from 25-30%, causing me a lot of lag and frame drops in games I’ve been playing. While having Valorant open, I saw that I was lagging so closed some tabs, and left all but 2 twitch streams at 160p that I was lurking on. I later then closed one of the streams to see how my CPU would hold and Opera’s CPU usage went from a 25% to a 35%, spiking even higher and causing my game even more lag. The below video is a video of the opera CPU usage, with the tabs below opened, while having the Warframe login menu in the background.

Thanks for the help, but I fixed the problem, apparently the GX Corner had problems during the iniciation and the computer thought it was a huge task, so it kept repeating it endlessly, sorry for taking your time
Some heavy pages sometimes start eating a lot of RAM and CPU here, mostly Facebook pages with videos. With Shift-ESC you can quickly see which page is the culprit. Closing that page alone solves the issue. And often reloading the same page in a new tab doesn't produce the problem again.
And regarding the RAM usage on your computer, you should go to the Details tab, right click on any column header, select columns and add the "Memory - Commit Size" column. In my experience that's the most realistic value, and a high number there will make your computer crawl. Order by that column and see what you find.
@siliconplains44 On Windows, you can open the internal task manager using shift + esc and see the CPU usage of each process. Don't know what would be the shortcut on Mac.
You can try finding it in the menu, it's under developer.
