If you want to remove ads, I recommend this extension:

Otherwise, you need to find an extension, that fits you best. After 1 minute search I got this link:

Hi @ns001, close the Opera, go to the Opera's profile directory (you can find the path in O-Menu->About Opera->Paths->Profile), open the "Preferences" file in your text editor, and make sure that the first 10 lines will be exactly the same as below:

Save the changes, close the file, and reopen the Opera.

I would also think about running 'chkdsk /r or /f' or maybe some other hard drive integrity/error checking software. A check of the condition of your R.A.M (modules) might be worth investigating to (memtest86).

1600x900 on what size screen, though. My latest laptop (an ultrabook) is 1600x900, but at 14 inches diagonal has a slightly lower DPI than the above-mentioned netbook. The netbok is 140 DPI, the ultrabook is only 135. They've said 200 is official HiDPI though for the record yesterday I did read about a tablet with a DPI of 538!

Nope. Don't know if there is any extension that adds it.

In Windows, Opera has not had a menu bar since version 15 - and it was optional prior to that.

Opera 12.17 is the latest version to use the old Presto engine - and to have the option of a menu bar. Last year they released a version based on the same engine as Chrome (the engine is currently known as Blink), but since it is a different engine they do not consider it an update to 12.x - it is something new, not an update.

There are 14 ssdfp files in my Opera Stable folder. They ARE all 1KB though.
I opened up 3 of them with NotePad and not much of anything was in there. I don't know. I guess NotePad is not the right App with which to open them.

Either way, IF those ssdfp files ARE the files that transmit the Feature Usage data, then they're tolerable. They're not big files at all.

There is any program associate with magnet link? At least here Opera used to open magnet links on the default program.

It's probably possible. You'd have to use some scripting to do whatever's needed to load all comments. Then, you'd have to export the DOM as HTML (to a data URI probably) so that you can save the page in that state. (To be honest though, I personally don't want to take the time to figure it out as I'm not familiar with how youtube loads things at all.)
