Control of cache size?

Is there a way to limit the cache size in Opera 22?

I'm not anti-new Opera, but I miss a lot of the old version customization options.

Try the switch --disk-cache-size=(size in bytes).

Pass it to opera.exe in a shortcut.

Ah... so it would limit the cache at start-up. Basing it on my current shortcut, would the target link be:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera\launcher.exe" /disk-cache-size=(size in bytes)

I'm not all that tech-savvy... do I need include the parentheses & the word bytes, or just put the desired number?

Also, how can I determine the default cache size as a starting point? Would I look at the cache folder properties to see the current size?

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera\launcher.exe" --disk-cache-size=50000000

That should limit your cache to 50MB and you can alter the size to your wishes. It's a Chromium switch and should work, but no guarantees.

Opera starts fine... it allows the command. I'll use it & see how things go. Thanks!
