I'd suggest making the dark or light mode selection like previously, on top of the themes section and with one click.
So active mode's icon will be blue (or border around the active mode's icon).
If only one mode is supported, then the rest icons will be greyed out.

DNA-118828 [Omenu][Context menu][Bookmarks bar] Parent menu’s item is invisible when expanded
Now hovered menu item's text is barely visible. And parent's menu item's highlighting box is also hardly visible.

@tastodd At the same time in SearchTabs popup items look correctly in light mode.
but in dark mode is the same story as with the menus in light theme.
The first thing what has spoiled the UI was the borders and rounded corners everywhere, the second stage of spoiling is the themes.
*btw, there's still no highlighting on hover for the 3 dots menu in Settings.

@andrew84: Thank you for your detailed feedback, @tastodd and @andrew84! It's clear there are some inconsistencies that need attention. As for the missing hover highlighting in the 3-dot menu in Settings, that’s a great catch—I’ll ensure it gets reported. Your observations are incredibly valuable, so thank you for sharing them!
