All my extensions which didn't work in the last version and were disabled are now working again.

But now all my search engines are gone.

          W11x64, Operax64

Edit: In my first try all search engines were gone, including the predefined search engines. I could not even select a standard search engine.

After a restart of Opera now the predefined search engines are visible again, only all my personal (self defined) search engines and short cuts are gone.

            Good afternoon Opera developers!
I wanted to clarify whether you are going to correct your mistakes or not?
Firstly: You will fix the browser synchronization server, it is working crookedly, your settings, history, open tabs, none of this works correctly, bookmarks are duplicated after each editing or deleting of a bookmark and launching another PC with synchronization, and extensions have no synchronization at all.
Secondly: In the dark theme, there are flashes of a white screen every time after opening in a new tab or restoring a recently closed tab.
Thirdly: The “Show tab thumbnails on hover” function is not convenient, it covers the entire screen and also has white flashes in the dark theme; in other browsers, a small convenient window appears above the tab that does not cover the useful part of the screen with information.
Correct these irritating features please take note of all this!
I like Opera, I’ve been using it since version 10 on Presto
Here is an example of normal "synchronization"

The browser crashes here when dragging a single tab outside the tabstrip.

*My previous complaint was that it's not possible to drag a window's single tab between windows because the window doesn't resize automatically (in pre-One version works nice). https://forums.opera.com/post/336376
Now the browser crashes in addition.

@ralf-brinkmann: Same here, all custom search engines are gone. Thankfully they don't seem to disappear if you add them again and restart Opera

My Opera 108.0.5063.0 UI freezes within like 10s after start. It started with the previous version (5054). You can only kill it with task manager. I am on Windows 10.

Is there actually a new font in the Opera Blog? The writing is so thin and light that you can hardly see it.

Extensions that were broken in the last build are still broken on Linux x64.
                              Repair button does not work.
Here is what I see at the console when press repair button:

[2223667:2223667:0201/222337.031388:ERROR:CONSOLE(0)] "Uncaught (in promise) Error: Could not fetch data from the Opera add-ons catalog", source: chrome://extensions/?menu=updates (0)

extensions that are added through the chrome extensions can be re-enabled by going to this site:
                                https://chromewebstore.google.com

                                then search for the extension
open it and then click the red enable button that shows up

All of your own search engine entries are still gone. After upgrading from the last working version 108.0.5047.0 to the new 109.0.5069.0, ALL search engine entries in the settings menu are gone after the first start, and after a restart only the ones you created are gone. But I can't recreate them all by hand. There are too many.
                                    So unfortunately back => 108.0.5047.0! 😞

@mbstafs when you open the extension in the chromewebstore there should be a red button to re-enable extension. just click on it and that extension is back.
if you have many extensions then i have no solution to mass enable those 😞

perhaps try upgrading to the latest 109 version and see if that solves things?
