@andrew84 Search in Tabs has an interesting feature in latest developer build that, depending on how it evolve, may bring back one of my favorites features of Opera Presto.
One of your "favorite feature". So, if the rest of us who want back the previous search feature trying to look like the majority, what are you doing?

@stolis 1 ) It's 2,37% of how much? Since there is no such info, the one I provided is still valid.
2 ) Like I said, those who are more unsatisfied with something tend to complain more, so it may look like if there was a huge number of people doing it. Many people also complain when a feature is added.

It's true. Those who are very unsatisfied decided to write in the blog and on forum (or even registered to post comments). So you don't take into account those users who are just unsatisfied (not very, but unsatisfied) but don't want to register and post comments.
The similar hype in comments was when Opera implemented the 'promotional bookmarks' feature, and after many complains they added a toggle in Settings. Also there was many complains about small tiles on Speed dial in Reborn3, and the 'big tiles' toggle was added.
We don't talk here that the 'majority' of users use InstantSearch or TabMenu, but there are quite enough users who use it.@leocg said in Opera 68 is here with built-in Instagram in the sidebar:

Did you see much complaints regarding the features that can be switched off? For example, I don't use the InstantSearch, so I just disabled it and forgot. I also don't use Ctrl+tab cycler, I also don't use MyFlow, CryptoWallet, Weather, Workspaces (in current view). But all these features can be turned off and no complains here.

Can you give me your source then, about the dozen of millions?
-
It bothers me when you insist saying that few users trying to exaggerate about it. Beside that, the more of us are complaining about the absence of leaving an option for users to decide if they want to use new features or not. We didn't ask to remove the new one added.
-
As i said, where are the numbers that make them take this removing decision? Did't got any answer to this.

Bring back the Instant Search.
I just revert back to version 67.0.3575.97 because this feature was completely gone. -

Speed Dial folders stuck/flash when opening new empty tab.
When you open a saved URL from within a Speed Dial folder on the Start Page,
the browser “remembers” and briefly flashes that folder expanded upon opening a new empty tab.WIN10-64 Opera 68.0.3618.56 Norwegian. HWA on.
Could someone confirm this, so that I know it’s not local or settings.

@Iriz We're pretty much all complaining about that here. I am also very pissed off. I just sent a twitter PM to opera, hope they will respond.
PS: IU good. -

@stolis Opera's site. And osme old Opera's anual reports.
It would be nice if we cold have options for everything but, unfortunately, this is not possible
Their internal statistics
- One more reason why opera keeps falling in browsers usage stats. Lack of options.
- So, due to their internal statistics found out that tab search is more useful for users, despite the number of continuing complains about it. Ok then. Nothing more to say.

Where the button to simply open closed page? It was earlier in place of "Search in tabs" button.

@zhenyasun As already mentioned, you can find recently closed tabs in menu > history.
