@andrew84 For sure Opera takes those users in consideration. However, we should remember that Opera knows how many people were/are using a feature and if it really worth keeping it available.

@vegelund said in Opera 68 is here with built-in Instagram in the sidebar:
Speed Dial folders stuck/flash when opening new empty tab.
When you open a saved URL from within a Speed Dial folder on the Start Page,
the browser “remembers” and briefly flashes that folder expanded upon opening a new empty tab.WIN10-64 Opera 68.0.3618.56 Norwegian. HWA on.
Could someone confirm this, so that I know it’s not local or settings.

@Iriz We're pretty much all complaining about that here. I am also very pissed off. I just sent a twitter PM to opera, hope they will respond.
PS: IU good. -

Their internal statistics
- One more reason why opera keeps falling in browsers usage stats. Lack of options.
- So, due to their internal statistics found out that tab search is more useful for users, despite the number of continuing complains about it. Ok then. Nothing more to say.

@kened: At least, borders of active tabs could be coloured, like in Opera GX.

Where the button to simply open closed page? It was earlier in place of "Search in tabs" button.

@zhenyasun As already mentioned, you can find recently closed tabs in menu > history.

@leocg: Unfortunately you guess wrong. Not anyone can get used to it, or to any new feature might come with every upgrade. That's why you keep reading complaining posts instead of rewards for it. Especially for the absence of disabling options.

@leocg: But you keep saying that others users favorite features (instant search in this case), aren't that useful anymore.

@stolis There will always be a few ones that won't have the capacity for that.

@leocg: And what about tabs from other devices?
Please return this menu next to new "Search in tabs". It was one of the best things in Opera -
hubim last edited by 29 Apr 2020, 15:05
@leocg: Sorry, but i can't get used to it. I've been trying for few days and every time it's hard
+1 click and much further from "+ net tab" button
There were tabs from other devices in this menu.
