@leocg: I don't mean such a long period, I mean the time when the InstantSearch and MyFlow were implemented, for example. I can turn the features I don't need off and continue using features I need. That's something that can be called 'painless' new features implementation.
Now I'm forced to use the features I don't need and I can't continue using the previous and important to me features anymore.

P.S. I can say that 'Search in tabs' feature was implemented in Stable version extremely fast. Looks like some critical change that needs fast implementation. The feature should stay in 69 ver., it doesn't even support the dark theme yet.
Now 'happy' users can open 200 tabs and enjoy by typing and searching for open tabs.
All the complaints and suggestions were simply ignored when the feature appeared in Developer version. There were suggestions to just restyle the TabMenu and keep both 'recently closed' and 'open tabs' + search as a compromise solution. We were promised to get a better feedback after new commenting service (instead of Disqus) was introduced and synchronized with forum, but in fact the feedback become worse and the users feedback is ignored (except the video pop-out which still needs improvements, but there were quite many requested changes implemented).

The idea seems to be that secure pages should be the standard and not something that deserves a colored padlock icon or even an padlock icon itself.

I agree, but if the site is not secured, then a padlock is not displayed next to the address. So it's clear to the user. So I think that changing the color of the padlock in browsers from green to white does not matter here, to avoid people thinking that green means a safer side. And white color does not mean a safer site? People can also think about how the white padlock is displayed then it is a safe site.

@ext Regarding the problem with the autoupdate folder, it's know and it's being investigated.

          All right.

There's a bug on MacOS Catalina 10.15.4, where a gap appears between the address bar and bookmarks bar when opera is full-screen. Font is also rendering incorrectly on sites like Facebook and Twitter

--- icon safe site indicator ---
I think it is much better to indicate the secure sites with a green lock and the unsafe ones with a red one. Grays are much less visible. Please fix this.

@aquilawhite The idea seems to be exactly to make the icon less visible and remove it in the future. Secure pages should be the standard and users should be warned when a page isn't.

Also, secure pages don't necessarily mean safe pages.

@leocg: This is so fail. Nobody cares for tabs search, but there was always "Closed tabs" since Opera Presto.

Please revert back the change for "Recently closed tabs", or at least give us an option to select one or the other. Recently closed tabs option is what makes Opera different from all other browsers, it's something I use all the time and most useful feature of the browser next to mouse gestures!

Now for every new version release I have to disable two flags:
                            opera://flags/#search-in-open-tabs
                            opera://flags/#sidebar-extensions-in-browser-sidebar

@zoran88: You can goto the URL opera://flags/#search-in-open-tabs, disable it and restart to get the old behavior back.

@leocg: So, they just swaped a very useful button with another not-so-useful one?
I mean, I really like the Search in Tabs functionallity, but I use it with Ctrl+Space, no need for a dedicated button.
Also, there's plenty of space for the 2 buttons, removing the Closed Tabs button is really non-sense.

@kmielczarczyk: Please, bring back the Recently Closed Tabs button, I already use Search in Tabs via its shortcut and I don't need a dedicated button.
Now, the Recently Closed Tabs functionallity is buried under a submenu, not user-friendly at all.
