@vitormanuel: Instead of messing around with this ad blocker from Opera, I suggest switching completely to uBlock and turning it off. uBlock is better if not the best of this type of extensions.

@leocg: If so, has the zero-day CVE-2024-4671 vulnerability been patched?
In Brave there is never this problem - corrections go out the same day or the next day at most. After the version you immediately know where you stand. -

@vitormanuel: It's best to install uBlock from the Chrome store (faster updates) and you'll be much happier.

It is a pity that there is no support in Polish (in general) even though there is a Polish branch in Poland. Once upon a time you could get help on Facebook, there has been a long silence.

RE: How Opera’s Security team helps make the web safer through responsible disclosureBlogs
Hasn't a security engineer noticed yet that opening a scanned QR code immediately is dangerous? We should be able to see what's inside the QR code first and decide what to do with it! After all, a link in a QR code can be dangerous! For example, Brave simply pastes the address into the search engine—take a page from them.

RE: Update your browser: Security fix for Chrome zero-day CVE-2026-5281Blogs
Why do QR codes still open immediately? After all, a code could be dangerous. There should first be a screen showing the URL and asking what I want to do with it—maybe I just want to copy it to check it on VirusTotal, or maybe just copy it to Notepad... Take a cue from the Brave browser, for example, which only pastes the URL. I have reported this to you many times and you have done nothing about it so far.

Why only mention CVE-2026-5281? Chromium 146.0.76380.177 contains many more high-level vulnerabilities. What about Android? Because it wasn't mentioned.
