@l33t4opera said in Opera 66.0.3511.0 developer update:
is offered only for Windows in the stable channel.
I don't know if only for Windows or not, but USB option is in all installers for Windows (this particular screenshot is from Dev installer). It appears when you change the installation path.

I mean, that true portable version of an application, doesn't require any installation process, doesn't download any files, just unpacking itself and should works
Yes, but it seems that here the main idea is to keep all personal data(Settings, History, bookmarks and etc) and browser in one folder, and this folder can be saved on USB stick and used on other PCs.

- In addition to the too bold line between the 'closed' and 'opened' sections in Tab menu, the tab menu icon stays unpressed(visually) while dropdown is expanded. At least in light mode it's invisible, in dark mode it's hardly visible. On all channels.
In O58 looks correctly.
- Maybe that button needs restyling too.
for example

Opera developers you often have problems with DNA-81010 Spinner takes a lot of cpu please remove this feature and add a non-animated image instead of it about playing video or music in the example tab like Google Chorme:

@cristianhcd Chromium seems to be implementing a reader mode, so maybe Opera may have one too.
opera//flags/#enable-reader-mode

@cristianhcd Of course I was talking about something that may happen in the future.

@gmiazga: Crashed non-stop here last 24 hours. Last 3 versions suddenly (assuming they can be started from their 'backup' directories) ie probably sync server change triggering eg old buffer overrun bug.
Deleted 'Preferences' file, and so far so good.

After scrolling in the Page Source page or searching something from the Page Source page by Ctrl+F, then I copying the text is disabled and search bar (Ctrl+F) hangs.

You add a tracker blocker to the browser but you also add big advertisements directly in the speed dial.... Seriously???
I didn't went to Opera for that kind of shitty practices -

Private window bug, I've read about it here in the blog and on forum too and, can I confirm
that behavior. https://forums.opera.com/topic/36691/opera-won-t-load-pages-after-an-incognito-window-is-closed-if-no-page-was-loaded-in-the-regular-window-first- Open browser.
- Don't open any pages in regular window, right click on bookmark and select open in private window.
- close the private window.
- That's all, browser is broken and it's impossible to open pages (continuous loading happens) until restart.
On all channels.

@andrew84 Yes, I, too, already wrote about similar here: https://forums.opera.com/post/190152

@firuz-u7 That won't be necessary. While the audio indicator animation exposes the issue, it's not the cause. The cause is deeper but being taken care of. Sit tight.

Bookmarked internal pages show 'chrome' in the address (in tooltip too when hovering), not 'opera'.
