Every time I click to open the browser it refuses to open, I’ve tried everything, reinstalling, updating, reinstalling antivirus, ect. The only thing that works is to change the exe name, but if I do that another issue occurs, discord won’t register opera as a browser so it won’t open links. Idk what to do and am looking for advice

It is also happening to me, since the new version, which is now irreversible to downgrade. Can't use opera now and need to find another browser, which is shame 😞

@delajedi yeah, I just had to stop using OperaGx. Uninstalled it and went back to chrome. Honestly I can’t recommend it and have warned all of my online/streamer friends that 1) they should look out for this problem, and 2) they will get no help on the issue should they encounter it.

@karma820 I just had the same issue come up lol; it'll play the startup animation, then fully crash. I even went as far as factory resetting my PC due to some other minor issues, to jo avail

@rastanz I'm switching from Chrome to Opera and I really need this function. I hope they fix it as soon as possible. I love the browser, but I don't think removing functions is the best way to update a browser.
