It appears you have feedzpipe adware that has taken up residence in your Opera browser, either as an extension or auto-loading webpage. You'll have to remove the infecting extension and/or stop the auto-loading webpage. You probably should ask an Opera Forums moderator to move this thread to the Opera For Windows forum, which is a more appropriate place for it (this sub-forum is just for issues involving the forum itself).

About the smilies on the forum.

In the "Activity" section, we have way too many very similar sports pictures, but only a few for music. I'd like to have more, much more for music, even we could split the category into a few: Sports, Music, Business, Leisure. I'd like to see less numbers of similar pictures of different colours but more activities represented.

It seems to happen that the user list displays single member names twice:

While I was afraid at first glance that a unique member name could be assigned more than once during the registration process, I do think now that it is just a representation error in the user list, because both shown member profiles are linked to the same address.

I mention that because I don't know which event could trigger the occurence of that display bug.

I see this message only when the Opera VPN is enabled. In the latter case I get that message presented on all forums using the same forum software as this one does.

Maybe it has something to do with how that forum software is working (and the VPN).
Any way to change e-mail address?

Half of people have no clue what or why something is happening. I deal with such nonsense basically daily. This is why you don't see more reports, half of the people think it's because they did something. I know I didn't do anything here. Either Opera broke their own browser or they broke the forum.

If it were true, there would have been lots of reports from the other half.

Tell it not to send you emails for various things. I get notified only when I visit the site (via a pop-up notification inside the window); I don't get any emails from the site. Turning off digest without turning off notifications means you get a separate email for each post.

NodeBB 1.9.0 had an error that caused the forums to crash (and subsequently respawn) frequently. You have probably caught the time where all forums instances died simultaneously and new ones did not spin up yet.

We've upgraded to 1.9.1 today, which promises to fix some of these bugs, so fingers crossed.
