You can update your forum signature by going into your profile settings. Look for User Control Panel → Profile → Edit signature (the exact path may vary depending on the forum). From there, you can change or remove your old signature and save the new one

When it's set to "Newest to Oldest," the pagination—especially the bottom-right navigation—should definitely follow that setting instead of jumping back to older posts.
