I made a post last week asking about using aria from my desktop browser. It got moved by an (IMO overzealous) moderator, and now I cannot find it.

Where do Aria question go to languish unanswered?

@Browseruk What the post was about? Could only see one that you deleted.

@Browseruk said in Where'd my post go?:

about using aria from my desktop browser

I also re-created it back in the forum where I originally made; with its original title. That also disappeared.

Why in Opera for Windows. Because that the browser I am using. And, as I am a new Opera user, the issue is quite likely user error using the facility within that browser to access Aria; rather than an issue with Aria itself.

Why my title not your: because a) that how I perceive the problem. As (likely) my misunderstanding how to use Aria from my Opera for Windows application; not as a bug in Aria. I cannot attribute to a bug, as I have never managed to make it do anything. Maybe it uses websockets, which fail because I use a firewall and have not authorised the Opera executable to do that. Maybe I've misconfigured my settings; Maybe I just misunderstand what is meant to happen.

In any case, you reading my post, deciding that you know what the problem is, and moving to some obscure place; then renaming it to fit with your interpretation of the site rules; but failing to respond to it and inform me what you've decided the issue is. Is not helpful. It is the opposite of that.

@Browseruk Well, if I think that a topic should be in a different area of the forum, that is better related to the issue, I will move the topic to that area.
And if I think that the topic should have a different title, that better describes what is being discussed in the topic, I will change it.

@leocg You will, because you can, and none can stop you. You're a volunteer with nothing better to do. A small minded fish in a small pond and you gonna threw that weight about as often as you can.

              Gotcha. Opera in the bin.

@Browseruk Nope, moderators do such things to make the forum better organised, to make it easier for people with the same issue to find a solution or, at least, a place to discuss about the problem.
