Menu missing

I'm old fashioned and still like a direct accesible menu (File, Edit, View, ...). With Opera 55 (Linux, Ubuntu 16.04) it took me 15 minutes to find a way how to get the menu:
- Maximize the window (not F11 / Fullscreen).
- Voila, there it is.
No menu:
