To do this, you can enable Lens Overlay in the experimental settings. But I'm not sure how useful it would be to constantly open and close Google Lens while reading manga.

@GamerParty Aria already does many of those things. And it also uses Gemini.

And, of course, integrating a standalone version of Gemini on sidebar will depend on an agreement with Google.

That's a valid point, definitely. I don't miss synchronization on my iPhone actually, but on the iPad Opera appears rather rudimentary. As I don't use the IPad that much any more, it's ok for me, but I can understand your point.
If you want to have a more Opera like experience on desktop and iPad you may like to install Vivaldi browser, which you can customize to look like Opera with sidebar, speed dials and some handy features, only missing AI integration as with Aria. The synchronization feature is decent and even better as that in Firefox.

Youtube Music is already there. It might not show in certain countries thoughs.

If it doesn't show for you, you can enable the "Custom user sites for browser sidebar" flag at the URL opera://flags/#sidebar-site-panel, restart Opera, click the 3 dots at the bottom of the sidebar, scroll down to "Custom Site Panels" and add https://music.youtube.com/.
