Add a user setting in opera://settings to configure the insertion order for newly created bookmarks: "Add new bookmarks to: Top of folder (Newest first) / Bottom of folder (Default)".

Problem Statement
Currently in Opera, whenever a user bookmarks a page (via the address bar heart icon, Ctrl+D, or context menu), the new bookmark is strictly appended to the very bottom of the selected folder.
For users who maintain large folders (30–100+ links), every newly added link requires either:

  1. Scrolling through the entire lengthy dropdown list every single time to access the recently added item; or
  2. Manually dragging the bookmark from the bottom to the top.

Proposed Solution
Provide a simple toggle in opera://settings (under the Bookmarks section):

  • Bookmark placement order:
    • Top of folder
      (inserts new bookmarks at index: 0)
    • Bottom of folder
      (classic Chromium append behavior)

This setting should apply both when saving to the default folder and when a different folder is selected in the heart button popup dialog.

Different panels can have very different layouts, and 100% isn't always the most practical size, especially on smaller screens.

I think the optional approach suggested here makes the most sense. A per-panel zoom setting would give users the most control, while a simple “sidebar panels follow page zoom” option would also be a good compromise.

Keeping it disabled by default could preserve the behavior introduced in version 132, while still allowing users who relied on the previous zoom behavior to get it back.

Hopefully Opera will consider making sidebar panel zoom configurable rather than permanently locked to 100%.

I use workspaces heavily to be able to manage Work , Home and Hobbies.

I find them really useful to be able to continue where you left off, and no , pinboards is not a substitue.

  • I wish I could have a name for my workspace , not just a limited set of icons. I know names are not a thing because they show in the bar on the left , but I think the way Edge does it with a combo box and only showing the selected one top-left is more practical.
    At least have the option to show them as desired.

  • make it easier to create a workspace. Like having a Plus ➕ button in the Tab -> Move To -> Workspaces section, and be able to move a tab to a workspace that you create on the fly.

Set everything up how you like it. Then, goto the URL opera://configure/mods, hover over the center Opera icon on the page and click the "Set image" icon and pick an image. Then, hover over the new image that's now in the center of the page and click the "save preset" button.

You'll then see your new preset in the preset section on the page (along with the 2 default ones). Then, if you ever need to switch back, just click that preset. You can also switch presets in the Easy Setup menu.

Could you please add full zoom support for Slack Sidebar App?

It is very important for usability to have both options available:

  1. Keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl + / Ctrl - and Ctrl + Scroll) to quickly adjust scale directly inside the sidebar.
  2. A zoom level setting in the Slack Sidebar App context menu (right-click options) or sidebar preferences to set a default scale.

Currently, text and interface elements in sidebar apps appear too large, and standard zoom controls do not work. Adding these features would greatly improve the user experience.

On Windows for example, you can hit Windows key + r to open the run dialog, type cmd and press enter to open a command prompt.

Then, with Opera closed, you can type:

"%localappdata%\Programs\Opera\opera.exe" --force-device-scale-factor=1.5

and press enter to start Opera.

1 = 100%, 1.25 = 125%, 1.5 = 150%, 2 - 200% etc.

Then, if that works, you can modify Opera's shortcut to do that.

For Opera's pinned taskbar button, right-click it, right-click "Opera Browser", goto "Properties", switch to the "Shortcut" tab and add a space and --force-device-scale-factor=1.5 to the end of the value inf the target field, click apply and OK out.

You can do the same thing for Opera's desktop shortcut, but right-clicking it and going to properties. For Opera's start menu shortcut, you can right-click it, choose "open file location" and then edit the properties of the Opera shortcut there.

If you want it to be a separate shortcut, you can right-click on your desktop, goto "New", choose "Shortcut", browse to opera.exe in its install folder, click "Next", name the shortcut "Opera Big" and click "Finish". Then, use that shortcut to start Opera.

If Opera is ever started by a file or protocol association though, Opera will open normally unless you edit some commands in the Windows registry. I can explain how to do that if ever needed.

Currently, Opera Sync only allows users to view a static list of open tabs from other devices.
I propose a True Real-Time Tab Mirroring feature:

  1. Unified Tab State: Tabs should be identical and active across all signed-in devices (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet) in real-time.
  2. Cross-Device Closing: When I close a tab on my smartphone, it should automatically and instantly close on my desktop browser (and vice versa).

Why this matters to me:
To be completely honest, the lack of this feature is currently a dealbreaker for me. Managing identical tabs manually across multiple devices is too time-consuming. Without a true, seamless real-time sync, I will unfortunately have to uninstall Opera and switch back to a competitor that supports this workflow. I love the browser otherwise, but this is a critical productivity feature for my daily use.
