@kimkorton said in capcut website doesn’t display correctly:
Hi Opera Community,
I’ve noticed that my capcut website doesn’t display correctly when viewed in Opera for Windows. The layout appears broken, with certain elements misaligned and some images not loading at all. The website works perfectly in other browsers like Chrome and Firefox.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Cleared the browser cache and reloaded the page.
Checked the site in Opera’s Developer Tools but didn’t see any major console errors, except for a warning about deprecated CSS properties.
Verified that the website is using standard web practices, including valid HTML5 and CSS3.
Disabled all extensions in Opera to rule out interference.
Could this issue be related to Opera’s rendering engine or compatibility with specific CSS/JavaScript features? Are there any browser-specific settings or fixes I should consider to ensure my website works seamlessly on Opera for Windows? Please help me as I am not a technical person please.
Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions!
Thanks for your response and suggestion! I managed to resolve the issue. It turned out that the problem was related to a browser-specific cache conflict. Although I had already cleared the cache earlier, I realized I needed to do a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5) and also clear the cookies for the website. I updated the website's CSS also to avoid using any deprecated properties flagged in Opera’s Developer Tools. After making these adjustments, the site now displays perfectly in Opera for Windows. Thanks again for your assistance!
