Is there way to return old behavior when whole browser was closed if last tab was closed?
Maybe is there some hiden setting? or "opera experiment"?

I realy miss this behavior with recent update

I am noticing the same behavior. With the recent updated my twitch stream delay went up to 7-10s in Opera. While in other browsers it is 2s

Running opera with user agent for Edge resolves issue with Windows Hello for me.

So it looks like Microsoft's website login.microsoftonline.com is doing some filtering on Opera's native user agent when deciding which login option to show

Company which I am working with, requires as to use passkeys + biometrics for logins. And it looks like Opera One browser for Windows does not supports this type of login.
Login Form option for Microsoft login with passkeys is not availalbe in Opera but it is availabe in other browsers like Chrome or Edge.

Passkey autofill passwords work just fine, but login with passkeys does not.
Is there any ETA about adding this feature in Opera? Or is it available and just needs to be anbled somehow?

I am having the same issue.

I have found that it happens 100% when you:

1. open new tab
2. hower new tab heading with mouse to show a toolip (with emojis)
3. start typing when tooltip is shown

it will show a suggestion (or just prints one letter if no suggestions) and stops updating adress bar.

And yes, this problem started with one of recent updates. Like 1-3 weeks ago

Yes for me the issue (or intended behavior as some say)started when I updated to "Opera One" (version which has a loud welcome sound when browser starts)

Before that for a good period of time even only one browser windows was closing with last tab closed. I was rly surpised that noone experienced this, but looks like I am no longer the only one in this topic who is missing that behavior.

Maybe it was some bug with "invisible window" opened previously and my main window was closed as second browser window etc... Anyway I would like to have a setting in Opera to close browser window with closing last tab. Please let me know if there is some special form to submit to developers this kind of suggestion / feature request
