this happens to me on a regular basis, after an update or closing and opening opera all islands except for the current workspace are dissolved - tabs remain but are not grouped in islands

Both Opera apps (Opera and Opera mini) for android fail to open youtube links in youtube app. It always opens in the browser. I tried Chrome and it worked. However in Opera case, it never even asked me which app i want to use for opening the link. I tried all combinations of settings and nothing worked. It is really annoying to not be able to open a video in youtube app.
Does someone have the same problem, or a resolution to this?

This is still an issue! I had experienced so much frustration with this! Fix this please.

There are a few of these minor bugs of basic features that are very annoying. I am using opera since 2000s but I am seriously thinking of switching because of these.

I am using Logitech MX Anywhere 3 mouse.
There seems to be issues with back and forward buttons:

1. Back button seems to be working fine in all but one case. When googling and clicking on a search result, upon clicking Back, it skips Google results page and goes straight to speed dial page. Happens every time. Don't think this skip happens in any other case.

2. Forward button does not work at all with default settings, currently I am using workaround for it (changed button function using Logitech Options software from function Forward to assigned keystroke Ctrl+Right), but even that works only 30-50% of the time. After some time it stops working, but a random click with a mouse anywhere on screen seems to repair it and the button can be used again.
   Also Forward button similarly skips google results page, when clicked on speed dial page it goes straight to the page opened from results.

Tried reinstalling Opera, that didn't solve anything. This is happening for a while, but my current version is 74.0.3911.160

I like it, except favicons are not displayed, which makes navigating among bookmarks a bit harder.

@leocg this happens to me all the time - I think it mostly happens when the mouse enters the tabs space from underneath it, not sure what further conditions must be met but it fixes itself when the mouse leaves and reenters most of the time - I go to the right and back since that works more often than down and back.

This bug is very annoying and for quite some time now, should be fixed asap.

@burnout426 i tried to toggle these setting with no change - currently only mouse gestures are turned on

i have just updated from 137 to 138.0.6044.24

I have one pinned tab that has about:blank url. Opening a page there switches to the blank again. I am certain this was a pnned tab with some web page opened originally - I noticed some tabs have changed to blank on occasion in the past but never with this problem.

It shows reload icon sporadically, about every 5 seconds on average. When i close the tab, nothing happens. If I unpin it, move the tab, and then close it, it just pins itself again. Help.

Also it seems like because of it I can't switch between workspaces - it switches me back to the workspace with the blank tab (maybe because of the reloading?)

@ericssen it looks like opera ad-blocker is broken, try disabling it for now

how can i get rid of this?

tried disabling the flag #pwm-show-suggestions-on-autofocus -- Showing password suggestions on autofocused password forms
but that didn't do it

@burnout426 i already tried that and for some reason that doesnt work - i made an opera profile with switched buttons in logi options but no changes in behaviour occured
