I mostly use twitch.tv and youtube. I think twitch uses Flash while youtube is on HTML5. Just noticed that netflix has switched to creating an entire new window in the task bar when it previously did the tab thing as well. Don't know though whether netflix is flash or HTML5 based.

Session Buddy is all you will ever need. Beats any built in session manager I've even see by quite a stretch.

That speed dial has been the default in Opera for several releases now. They had warning. That fact they had to enable the old speed dial via a flag was a clue.

You'd die before they would even think to improve s**t. I've been asking a lot about this everywhere and, well, it was, obviously, useless. So I found out, that chrome extensions are compatible with opera, and some of them are able to turn off [downloads.shelf] (the annoying popup).

This extension is the most visually bearable, easy to use and lightweight out of everything I found there.

Looks like it's exactly what you need. The problem is that there is nothing to show that a download has stated...

The space between speed dials looks about right, but the space between the speed dials and the edge of the window is still rather large.

If the images above are too large please let me know and I will make them smaller.

Can't reproduce here. Even with developer mode enabled, i can't see that entry here.

Me neither at this moment. It's a quite elusive string.

Anyway. When searching the string in Opera installation files (without the final accent), the following matches are displayed:

That is to say, without Ctrl? If Advanced (aka single-key) shortcuts are enabled, those should work. Ctrl-1? In Presto-based Opera, Ctrl-(number) was a shortcut to speed dial (number), originally.
